At Teamleader One, we understand that your invoices and quotations are the business card of your company. That’s why you now have full control over the template of your outgoing documents. In this article, we explain how to adjust the layout to your corporate identity.
Where can I find the template settings?
To get started, navigate within Teamleader One to: Settings - Layout. There you will see a preview of your document, so you can immediately see the result of your changes.
Which elements can I customise?
Font: Choose from a selection of professional fonts that are optimally readable on both screen and paper. You can choose from Inter, Open Sans, Roboto, Lato, Montserrat, Poppins or Raleway.
Colours: Choose your various colour elements yourself using hex codes (e.g. #56D2D2):
Title colour: the colour of the headings on your document.
Body colour: the colour of the general content.
Accent colour: the colour used for visual accents to make your document stand out, e.g. the line at the top.
Table colour: the colour of your table with your product lines.
Company details: Choose whether you want to display your company details on the left or right side of the document. The customer details automatically shift to the opposite side.
Logo: Use the toggle to easily turn your company logo on or off on your documents.
QR payment code: Make it easy for your customers to pay and enable the QR code so customers can pay directly via their banking app.
Where can I see my changes?
You can see your personalised corporate identity in two places:
While you adjust the settings, a live preview is shown immediately.
As soon as you download an invoice or quotation as a PDF or send it to your customer, your chosen style is applied.
Note: On the screen where you create and edit the invoice, you will still see the standard view. Your personal branding only becomes visible once the document is generated.
Useful to know
I made a mistake, how do I start over?
At the bottom right you will find the button Reset to default template settings. This resets all colours and fonts in one click back to the original Teamleader One style.
What is a hex code?
A hex code is a unique 6-character code (e.g. #56D2D2) that indicates a specific colour. You can often find the code in the style guide of your own website or brand.
How do I know what my document will look like?
Every change you make is immediately visible in the preview window. That way, you will never be surprised when you send the next invoice to a customer.
