Peppol statuses

To keep your e-invoicing process via Peppol transparent and efficient, we support sending and receiving detailed status updates or response messages, for both outgoing and incoming invoices.

 

These messages provide you with immediate insight into the technical processing status and acceptance of your Peppol documents by the recipient. Below you can read exactly what this means for your invoices and expenses.

 

 

Peppol status updates for invoices

When you send an invoice to a customer via Peppol, you can receive the status updates sent by the recipient in Teamleader One. This way you can see at a glance whether the invoice has been technically processed and what its status is, for example whether it is Accepted or Paid.

Good to know: There is no guarantee that you will receive such a message. This depends on the software used by the recipient of your invoice.

 

 

Peppol status updates for expenses

As soon as an expense arrives via Peppol, it automatically receives the status To review. You must Accept or Reject that Peppol document. This status update is automatically sent back via Peppol to your supplier. When rejecting, you have to add a note (e.g. if a document was sent twice).

Good to know: It is possible that sending such a message may fail. This depends on the software used by the supplier of your expense.

Expenses that were in the system before the introduction of this workflow retain their original status (Processed).
