Completing your company settings

You can easily complete your company details in the Settings. Under the Company Settings section, you can fill in all the essential information about your business. The more complete your information, the quicker you can work later on. Please provide the following details:

  • Name (as registered in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises)

    Please note: If you have already activated Peppol, you will notice that your company name (which defaults to My Company) is not editable. If you wish to change your name, you must first deactivate Peppol in the settings and refresh the page before you can edit and save the name. Once you have updated and saved your company name, you can reactivate Peppol. Please keep in mind that it takes approximately one hour for the network to fully process the re-registration before you can actively use the Peppol network again.

🇧🇪 VAT status (for Belgian companies)

  • For the VAT status option, it is important to choose the right option in the drop-down menu, as this will change the text line on your invoices, among other things. You can choose one of the following options:

    • Subject to VAT

    • VAT franchisee

    • Exempt from VAT (art. 44)

  • Depending on the VAT status you have chosen, you will also need to complete your VAT number and/or Company number in the format (BE)0123456789, without spaces or punctuation marks.

Good to know: You cannot change your VAT status if Peppol is enabled. If your VAT status has changed or has not been set correctly, you must first deactivate Peppol, then change and save your VAT status, and then reactivate Peppol.

Logo

While adding a logo isn't mandatory, it does enhance your invoices and makes your brand more recognisable. A well-designed invoice is often paid more quickly, which is certainly beneficial. 

  • We support the file types .jpeg, .png, .bmp and .jpg.

  • Please note: the logo must have a size of 120 x 120 pixels. If your logo has other dimensions, it may be distorted.

 

 

By filling in these settings, you ensure that your invoices and quotations are created quickly and completely.
